Refund policy

We comply fully with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and aim to make returns and exchanges as straightforward as possible.


Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives defective, damaged, or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@hrdndza.com.

In accordance with Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act:

  • You may return defective goods within 6 months of delivery.
  • You may choose between a refund, replacement, or repair.
  • HRDND will cover all reasonable return shipping costs for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
  • This applies to sale items as well.

Size Exchanges

If an item doesn't fit, we're happy to exchange it for a different size, subject to stock availability.

  • Exchange requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached.
  • Return shipping is for the customer's account — you arrange and pay for sending the original item back to us.
  • HRDND covers the shipping cost of sending the replacement size out to you.
  • If your requested size is out of stock, we'll offer you store credit or a refund.

Please refer to the size guide on each product page before placing your order to help avoid sizing issues.


Change-of-Mind Returns

As a goodwill gesture, we offer a 7-day change-of-mind return window from the date you receive your order.

  • Items must be returned in unworn, unwashed, original condition with all tags and original packaging.
  • You may inspect the item as you would in a retail store, but items showing signs of wear will not be accepted.
  • Return shipping costs are for the customer's account.
  • Refunds will be processed once the item has been received and inspected.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless defective:

  • Custom or personalised items
  • Gift cards
  • Worn or washed items
  • Items returned without original tags or packaging

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Email us at sales@hrdndza.com with your order number and the reason for return.

  2. Wait for return approval before sending anything back — items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

  3. Once approved, send the item to:

  4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll process your refund, exchange, or replacement.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days of inspection.
  • Banks and payment providers may take additional time to reflect funds in your account.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven't received your refund, please contact sales@hrdndza.com.
